Campo Aperto is a biennial project that connects contemporary art with the third sector, aiming to create a meaningful dialogue between these two realities through a program that includes visual arts exhibitions, performative interventions, and talks at Campo XS. From October 2024 to July 2026, the space will host 8 projects by national and international artists and creative individuals, selected through an open call. The technical committee, composed of Campo XS, Pinksummer Contemporary Art, Studio Sirotti, the curatorial collective Mixta, independent curator Anna Daneri, and cultural producer Carlo Antonelli, has selected 8 artistic and curatorial projects from both national and foreign artists, spanning multidisciplinary expressive languages and various intersectional artistic practices.
 

The collaboration with Consulta Diocesana per le Famiglie Onlus has created an initiative that offers individuals exiting protection paths the opportunity to participate in the project through paid internships, actively collaborating during the execution of exhibition projects and overseeing the space during opening hours. Campo XS measures the social impact of the project through Social ROI, which calculates the social return on investment in terms of the well-being produced.
