From Blue to Bytes

Michele Luigi Mulas and Marko Tardito

The visions of artists – electronic and photographic – converge in a suspended and imaginary landscape. On one side, the search for harmony through matter; on the other, the dialogue with time and the memory of images. Through the ancient printing technique of cyanotype, Mulas reinterprets landscapes that fade into the memory of time, leaving traces of a mirage between imagination and reality, past and present. Tardito, on the other hand, looks to the future, creating interactive electronic sculptures suspended between the present and the future, always open to new modifications and reinterpretations. Together, their works construct a narrative that traverses the ages, inviting the observer to share a new awareness: that of an art that, while respecting the richness of the past and the innovations of the future, responds in ever-unpredictable ways to the same profound needs of humanity – tranquility, harmony, and beauty.

MISCELLANEOUS

Isabella Nardon and Jacopo Noera

curated by Mixta

Miscellanea is a series of community-specific interventions divided into three different processes: collection, transition, composition.

Miscellanea is a landscape photograph. The inhabitants involved will give us a small part of their reality to allow us to rework it and return it in a new form. An exchange system that starts from the gift of a personal object as an element of identity determination to become part of a collective puzzle.

VICTIMARY: lies, fossils and butterflies

Nuvola Ravera

in collaboration with Carlo Antonelli, Caterina Roncati, Giovanni Zuffi, Aurora Grillo and the students of the Accademia Ligustica

The former Campo XS butcher's shop becomes a laboratory for traces of trauma and wrongdoing in a grotesque reworking, where through a series of 'incendiary acts' questions are posed about individual and collective responsibility in the normalisation of violence, inciting awareness of the words and actions that shape our social interactions.

INFO POINT

Thyself Agency (Luca De Leva)

in collaboration with Pinksummer

Thyself Agency opens its first INFO POINT in Genoa, at the CampoXS space. Thyself Agency is a travel agency that organizes expeditions into the unknown, practicing maieutics through three specific exercises: exchanging lives, the 9-Day Week, and Glasses. Its INFO POINT is an office for the experimentation of existential practices – Luca De Leva proposes new methods of research, personal, intimate, and spiritual exercises to disrupt behavioral automatism and facilitate the search for different ways of living and relating to the world.

Del Taglio

Luca Trevisani

in collaboration with Pinksummer

Del Taglio is a series of knives shaped like the animals we eat and cut, designed to establish a correspondence between form, materials, uses, and senses. An archipelago of sharp forms, objects but also subjects, that take on the spiritual management of the power dynamic between our stomachs and the world, sublimating into contradictory and provocative talismans. The different types of life forms act like ghosts to challenge our passive and automatic relationship with the idea of food, diet, and matter. The morphology of the living as a lever to embody a series of tensions and relationships that too often remain silent and invisible, in order to explore the Western perception of the world, shifting the center of gravity from the eyes to other parts of the mind.
